How quickly can you actually get here?

It depends on where you are and what the traffic is doing, and any locksmith who gives you a single number for all of Melbourne is guessing. Will you have to drill my lock?

Should I take the door off myself, or break a window?

Please do not. A window costs many times what a lockout does, and a forced door usually damages the frame as well as the lock, which turns a short job into a carpentry job. Call first and ask — if there is a genuinely faster option in your situation we will tell you what it is.
